A person approved them.

A PickMe driver does not become a driver by installing something. They apply, and somebody on our side reads the application and decides.

Same as every other kind of Cyca driver: pending until a human has looked, then approved, or rejected with a note saying what was wrong.

You see them before you get in.

Their face and their name — on the trip, before the car arrives.
Their rating — built from riders who went before you, not from a badge they bought.
Their vehicle — what to look for at the kerb.
A way to reach them — message or call, in the app.

What is shared, and when.

Location is the sharpest thing either of you hands over, so it is handled carefully in both directions.

Your exact pickup is not broadcast — drivers being asked see a request. The precise spot goes out only to the driver who is confirmed.
Tracking is for the trip — it runs while the trip runs, so both of you can see the other, and it ends when the trip does.
Numbers stay private — the call and the messages go through the app. Neither side hands over a personal phone number to make a ride happen.

Both sides are rated.

Riders rate drivers and drivers rate riders. Not for a leaderboard — because it is the record that keeps both ends of this honest, and because somebody who behaves badly should not arrive at the next person as a blank page.
